SIX60 establishing part and drummer Eli Paewai has tonight declared his choice to leave the band.
The pop musical gang - which incorporates Matiu Walters, Ji Fraser, Chris Macintosh, Marlon Gerbes, Hoani Matenga and Eli Paewai - was framed in 2008 while they were understudies at the College of Otago.
"Being an establishing individual from SIX60 has been one of the most satisfying things in my day to day existence. To that end it is so challenging to report that I will be resigning from my job as SIX60's drummer," Paewai said on the band's virtual entertainment pages.
"I am so thankful for my experience in front of an audience, the help of the fans, and particularly for my experience with the young men. "While my own excursion with music is reaching a conclusion, I will continuously be an individual from SIX60.
"I will remain on as an individual from the SIX60 Establishment to proceed with my enthusiasm of tutoring and training people in the future." His last two shows with the band will be in Melbourne on February 10 and at Electric Road in Christchurch on February 24.
