The blessed Shab-e-Barat, the evening of fortune, will be noticed all through the country the evening of February 25 (Sunday) as the new early afternoon of the sacred month of Shaban of Hijri 1445 was located overhead of Bangladesh on Sunday (February 11) evening.
"As the new bow was located in the nation's sky today, the counting of the sacred month of Shaban of Hijri 1445 will start from tomorrow (Monday) and the blessed Shab-e-Barat will be seen the evening of February 25," an Islamic Establishment (IF) public statement said here tonight after a gathering of the Public Moon Locating Board.
Extra Secretary of the Strict Undertakings Service Md Abdul Awal Hawlader led the gathering held at the Assuming meeting room of Baitul Mukarram Public Mosque in the capital.
The Muslims think about Shab-e-Barat as one of the three most holy evenings and accept that on this night All-powerful Allah determines the destiny of all people fixing their 'rizq' (vocation) for the following year. The Muslim enthusiasts will offer exceptional supplications, recount from the Sacred Quran, hold milad, zikir and other strict customs looking for divine favors for the prosperity of humanity.
