Filmmaker Ali Zulfiqar Jahedi's full-length feature film Janalar Opare Keu Nei ("No One Beyond the Window") is moving ahead with a new story, new characters, and new faces. Produced under the banner of Adrian Productions, the film began shooting on September 15. Filming is currently taking place at various locations in the capital, Dhaka, and its surrounding areas.
The story will revolve around psychological and human relationships and their complexities. Those involved say the film will explore, across different layers of the story, the realities of contemporary society, human loneliness, the tensions within relationships, and the many unspoken feelings of life.
One of the film's main attractions is newcomer actress Adrita. The new lead actress is set to make her big-screen debut under Zulfiqar Jahedi's direction. Sources close to the director say that although she is a new face, Adrita was chosen because she suits the requirements of the role. The film gives her the chance to showcase her acting talent before audiences.
Alongside Adrita, the cast of Janalar Opare Keu Nei includes Lara Lotus, Shifat Amin Shuvo, Sakib Hossain, Golam Farida Chhanda, Saifur Rahman Evan, and others. The ensemble combines experienced and emerging performers.
Director Ali Zulfiqar Jahedi said one of the main aims of the film is to bring out the inner feelings of people and the many complex aspects of relationships through storytelling. To preserve the atmosphere of the story and the realism of the characters, emphasis is being placed on real locations around Dhaka.
Ismail Hossain Liton is in charge of the film's cinematography. Sources close to the director say a Pakistani actress will play an important lead role in the film. However, her name and character have not been disclosed in detail for now. The director will announce this officially at a later date.
More shooting will take place at various places in Dhaka as required by the story and characters. Details about the film's release will be announced after production is complete.
