Ukraine says it has brought down a Russian A-50 military covert operative plane - the second such case in a little more than a month. The plane was hit between the Russian urban areas of Rostov-on-Wear and Krasnodar, Ukrainian military sources said, over 200km (124 miles) from the bleeding edge.
